Pioneer Club 2017-2018
OCTOBER 6, 2017—APRIL 27, 2018
What is Pioneer Club?
Pioneer Club is a children's ministry for kids in kindergarten through grade 5. This Christ-centered program helps boys and girls build healthy relationships with caring Christian adults, peers, and most importantly, with Christ.
The program is marked by its participatory Bible study for children, Scripture memory, life-skills development, and emphasis on relational discipleship and outreach.
The children participate in exciting activities such as art, sports, music, first aid, hiking, woodworking, drama, and more! We also have a couple of special events throughout the year.
The four curriculum goals are:
1. To enable children to enter into a personal relationship with Christ and to know His Word.
2. To enable children to form healthy relationships.
3. To enable each child to grow as a whole person.
4. To enable adults to understand children and help them develop.
When is Pioneer Club?
Pioneer Club meets on the first three Fridays of the month from October through April, from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. There is a yearly fee of $35. (Please talk with Pioneer Club leaders if this is a financial burden.)
how you can help.
If you have a talent or interest that you would like to share with the children, please speak to Kathleen Venter when you come. In the past we have learned about lawn mower repair, campfire cooking, and horses, to name a few. The children love to learn about the church family and their interests in this way.
